Tel Aviv, Israel

QEDIT

, an enterprise solution for preserving data privacy using zero-knowledge proofs, has announced that its private asset transfer solution will be available in an “off-the-shelf” advanced privacy option for businesses using the

Kaleido

blockchain cloud platform.
The partnership was announced by QEDIT’s VP Business Development Shiri Lemel, and Kaleido Founder and Chief Operating Officer Sophia Lopez on stage at Consensys’ first-ever Ethereal Summit in Tel Aviv.
Through this partnership, QEDIT’s private asset transfer solution is now available in the Kaleido marketplace. Customers can seamlessly transition from executing asset transfers with ERC20/721 tokens, which leak data on the blockchain, to privacy-preserving asset transfers that leverage zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) cryptography and keep sensitive transactional data off the blockchain. As companies launch projects with advanced privacy needs, the core QEDIT technical integration in the Kaleido platform across the Go Ethereum (Geth), Quorum, and Hyperledger Besu protocols provides a groundbreaking way to access blockchain ZKP technologies.
Jonathan Rouach, CEO and Co-founder of

QEDIT

said, “Kaleido has played a leading role in accelerating the deployment of enterprise blockchain technology by removing the need for companies to invest significant resources in custom code development. The komgo blockchain network, which is used by leading energy companies and financial institutions, is a showcase example of what can be achieved on the Kaleido platform. We’re proud to be partnering with Kaleido and thrilled about having our ZKP privacy protocol available in their marketplace.”
Kaleido, a

Consensys

-backed company and leading blockchain business cloud, is the only full-stack blockchain SaaS that is enterprise and consortia-ready. By partnering with AWS and Azure , Kaleido’s platform spans leading cloud platforms and even hybrid deployments for a seamless multi-cloud experience. In 2018, Kaleido launched the industry’s first enterprise blockchain marketplace to offer a range of leading innovative services that provide clients with flexibility and choice. Kaleido’s zero-knowledge proof integrations are available today in its marketplace and companies can try them for free upon registration with Kaleido.

Kaleido

Founder Sophia Lopez said, “As our clients’ blockchain networks mature, many are looking to solve next-gen problems for their ecosystems. QEDIT’s leading privacy innovations in the zero-knowledge space are compelling for our customers and we’re excited to offer access to QEDIT’s deep tech in our marketplace.”

Toon Leijtens, CTO of

komgo

, a blockchain platform for commodity trade finance built on Kaleido, said, “A challenge for blockchain networks is the protection of private information on the ledger. Zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) offer a potential solution for this by allowing a party to verify the accuracy of a statement without conveying the actual information in the statement.”

QEDIT’s protocol utilizes zero-knowledge proof cryptography to allow parties employing enterprise blockchains to record and authenticate the transfer of assets on a shared ledger without revealing any underlying, confidential information. Network members can verify the integrity of the proofs, but they cannot see who sent what, or how much, to whom. QEDIT also offers tools for auditors to enable regulatory compliance.
