With fiat on-ramps, buying cryptocurrency becomes easy. Instead of setting up an external account with an exchange, the whole process happens from within MetaMask, making the process of obtaining tokens simple and more enjoyable.
In addition to existing partners Transak and Wyre, MoonPay has been vetted and selected to be one of the partners to help spread MetaMask on-ramps to a wider audience.
With MoonPay, there are now more ways to buy crypto within MetaMask. Users can now purchase ETH and other assets using Google Pay and Apple Pay, as well as bank transfers in more than 160 countries (see below for more details).
What is MoonPay?
MoonPay is a facilitator to buy and sell crypto easily. They launched in 2019 to increase cryptocurrency adoption and currently serve over 5M customers.
MoonPay is currently available in the MetaMask mobile app (v4.4) and will be available in the coming days on the MetaMask browser extension (v10.13).

UK Faster Payments (used only in GBP-denominated transactions in the UK)

How do I get started?
To fund your MetaMask wallet, click BUY on the home screen to get started.
You can select your partner of preference, and once an account is created with them, you won’t have to go through KYC onboarding again. Just purchase crypto and carry on as you normally would.
