Q. Is there a syllabus for the course available?

Q. Can this course be completed from anywhere?

A. Yes. This is an online course that can be completed wherever you have internet access.

Q. Upon completion of this course, will I be certified for industry recognition (outside of ConsenSys)?

A. Yes. Upon completion of this course, you will have acquired all the skills necessary to become an industry-ready blockchain developer, along with a certification via Ethense that attests to your completion of the course.

Q. Is Financial Aid available?

A. While we don’t offer financial aid, we do have 100 scholarship seats available based on applicant qualifications and need. Please refer to the program website for more details.

Q. How long will it take to complete this course?

A. The course will run for 11 weeks.

Q. Are there any prerequisites for taking this course?

A. The ideal learner has at least 1 year of programming experience, will be an experienced and passionate Object-Oriented Programmer (preferably Python), and is familiar with general web development, JavaScript, HTML, and Git.

Q. Are there any hardware or software requirements to be able to successfully complete this course?

A. Students will need access to a computer with an internet connection, and that is capable of running a VirtualBox.

Q. Can I sign up for the course without paying?

A. Payment is necessary at the time of registration in order to secure your spot.

Q. What is Ethense?

A. Ethense is ConsenSys Academy’s credentialing platform for the decentralized future for both certificate receivers and issuers like traditional universities, MOOCs, continuous education programs, Human Resources groups and others. Upon successful completion of the End-to-End Ethereum Developer course you will receive a certificate of completion via Ethense. Learn more here.

Q. What is uPort?

A. uPort is an open identity system that allows users to register their own identity on Ethereum, send and request credentials, sign transactions, and securely manage keys & data. Learn more here.
